Priorities and Achieving Your Goals

Don’t say you don’t have time to work on your goals! We all get the same 24 hours in a day it’s all about how you choose to use it. What are you doing on a daily basis that is not helping you to achieve the type of life that you want. What distractions are you engaging in that are keeping you from your goals?

What are you listening to? Reading? Watching? That is keeping you in a negative cycle? As we think so shall we become. So if you want things to improve you’ve got to change your thinking.

The definition of insanity is to keep repeating the same action and expecting the same result. So if you’ve been doing the same thing with no change coming and just hoping for things to improve. It’s time to make a change.

For circumstances to change, you’ve got to change.
The same wind blows on us all. The wind of misfortune, the wind of luck, the wind of opportunity, the wind of disaster. The difference in how we deal with these depends on the setting of the sail.
So it’s time to change the set of your sail to take advantage of the winds of opportunity.

Stop filling your head with rubbish and triviality like watching the news, current affairs or mindless TV shows. These are all just designed to keep us distracted from working on ourselves and below the line, buying into negativity and blaming others for our problems.

Instead use that time to read an inspiring book, read good news stories, listen to personal development podcasts. Learn a new skill, work on your dreams. Find 20 minutes a day to work on yourself and your goals. That’s 120 hours a year. Now what could you do with that time?
